| man, i've come a long way since i got that camera... but it's still fine and dandy. those scratches remain a vital part of my journey of photography~ but that probably means i should take better care of my camera. the past week has been a rough ride physically, with quite a few sneezes and coughs . on top of that, i carelessly ran up the stairs too fast, and ended up spraining my ankle. but God graciously kept the homework load to the minimal. i literally had no homework until this weekend; it's quite a strange feeling actually. along with all that good stuff, i started reading The Heavenly Man (thanks caroline!). i've been so encouraged by this book! and i'd have to say, the cover looks like caroline's dad... the book is about a chinese christian living in the days of prosecution in China, with sidenotes of his wife..anyway, some say it's overly dramatized. some say it's an amazing piece of work. whatever it is, surely it brings about what living for Christ means. so what does it mean to live for Christ? i think to me it's more than just carrying a name. more than an answer to give when someone asks, what are you? i think, the word Christian bears heavier things than just as words out of a mouth. but ultimately, i'd think i want be able to answer that qs with my life. quite a vague answer for such a question.. but i guess as long i know what i'm talking about, really. haha. i kinda like how only few ppl visit xanga now hehe. i guess another question is what does it mean to live like Christ. or what does it mean to live because of Christ. or maybe they're all the question with a different perspective. i dunno. it's up for grabs =P and i was highly encouraged during ultimate fris today. praise the Lord~ i am in a calvin&hobbes craze.
and man, my toes are so cold..
